The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

ArtsEZ 2023 Award Winners

The Northampton Arts Council is pleased to announce the awarding of 16 grants totaling $11,475 in support of various projects from funds raised through event programming within the Northampton community. Our signature fundraising events include the Silver Chord Bowl, Performance, and First Night Northampton. The funding of these projects would not have been possible without our community members who continue to support our benefit events and the sponsors and donors who contribute time and again. Each year, we are in awe of the outstanding applications we have the honor of reviewing, and unfortunately, we were unable to fund many worthy projects. The Arts Council received 64 requests for almost $103,685 of funding.
